Board of Review Members
Lyon township is currently seeking applicants for committee members on it’s Board of Review.
- Members must be qualified electors, land owners and tax payers (MCL 168.342) of Lyon Township
- The position is a 2-year term expiring December 31, 2023
- The board meets a minimum of 4 days per year
- The members hear tax payer appeals protesting their assessed /taxable values as calculated by the townships assessing department.

The Lyon Township will be available during normal business hours for In-Person Winter Tax Collection. On December 30, 2020 the Treasurer's Office wil be available from 9 am to 5pm for In-Person Collection.

Effective December 1, 2020 the Lyon Township Compost site will no longer be accepting brush.
This will remain in effect until further notice. We aopolgixe for the inconvenience, but space is limited with the current drop off of fall leaves.

Lyon Township has an immediate opening for an Ordinance Officer. Duties breifly include assisting in the administration and enforcement of Township ordinances, as related to public health and safety. Please call or stop into the Township for more details.

Effective May 26 2020 Lyon Township office will be open to the public during normal business hours. Anyone entering the office will be required to wear a mask, and only one person will be allowed in to the office at a time. All office staff will continue to be available via phone and email.
